Coast was the very first gallery in Big Sur, known affectionately as 'the bank' to local artists. Over the years, this gallery has become a must see destination.

Art is all around you at Nepenthe, landscaping compliments sculptures you'll see dotted around the property. World class art can be viewed inside.

Showing work by the Hawthorne family as well as other artists. The Hawthorne Gallery opened in 1995, a more recent addition to the area. 

The Post Gallery, showing black and white photography, sculptures and fine jewelry. Not many vegan options available for dining but we love the gallery.
