Big Sur is a world class destination with accommodations ranging from 5-star hotels that book months in advance, to campsites or glamping spots you can reserve on site or shortly before your trip.
Depending what kind of experience you are hoping to have while here, we can help point you in the right direction. Since we're local, we haven't stayed in every location along the coast by any means, but we'd definitely love to! We hope you'll share your feedback about vegan travel on the central coast. Depending on the season you will have more options than others. For warm weather seasons, plan early and reserve months in advance. In colder months you will find available campsites in some but not all campgrounds or locations in Big Sur Village.
Any Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or Target in Monterey, Carmel, Santa Barbara, or any other town with those stores will have Dandies brand plant based marshmallows. Enjoy!
